First topic when this blog returns: discussion of what expectation of time interval “soon” conveys. There will be comparison and contrast between “soon”, “relatively soon”, “pretty soon”, “soonish”, “virtually soon”, “literally soon”, “soon as Hell freezes over” and “How about never? Is never good for you?”

I have a rough timeframe for “soon,” although an end date has not yet been reached.

That was a year and a half ago. Longer than “soonish,” but shorter – so far – than “How about never?”
